History
SurLuster was founded in 1947 by Joseph Robinson in Long beach, California, USA started manufacturing wax by using “Carnauba wax,” a natural material used in cosmetics. In 1949, company began full-scale sales under the brand name SurLuster. In 1968, SurLuster achieved a market share of 80%. Following year, SurLuster
Pace and Wax (Blue wax) were selected by General Motors as a designated wax for Cadillacs, and SurLuster was recognized as the most luxurious car wax in the world.
Sales in Japan began in early 1970s, when Japanese market domestic motorization just started to take root. Since then, SurLuster has continuously creating innovative car care products which makes SurLuster ,one of the best car care product manufacturer and continues to be loved by car enthusiasts in Japan. SurLuster products are now completely manufactured in Japan and top-selling car care brand in Japanese retail stores.
